ASPIRE Academy at Bella Vista College Prep

ASPIRE Basketball Academy, or ASPIRE Academy at Bella Vista College Prep, as our program is officially named, is a basketball-centered college preparatory school located in North Scottsdale, Arizona. Founded in the spring of 2016, and set for our inaugural season during the 2016-2017 academic year, ASPIRE was started-up with the premise that every student-athlete deserves to be provided with the guidance, instruction, platform, resources, and exposure to maximize their potential in all facets of their development – academically, personally, socially, and athletically. ASPIRE will re-set the bar with respect to elite basketball college-preparatory programs and training facilities, one in which academic standards are not sacrificed in the name of athletic excellence. ASPIRE Academy believes academics and athletics not only compliment, but supplement each other for the long-term good of the individual. Partnering with the fully accredited and NCAA-approved Bella Vista College Prep, gives ASPIRE student-athletes the best possible combination of academic and basketball excellence in a healthy, stable, and nurturing environment. In addition, student-athletes have the opportunity to begin college courses through either Grand Canyon University or Paradise Valley Community College.

ASPIRE will have two teams for the 2016-2017 academic year, a national high school boys’ team and a post graduate boys’ team. ASPIRE’s national high school team is comprised only of high school aged student-athletes currently enrolled in high school, while all players on ASPIRE’s post graduate team will be student-athletes who have graduated from high school, but are looking for an additional year of development, competition and exposure before attending college. ASPIRE’s national high school and post graduate program provides student-athletes with the ability to compete at the highest level, against the top talent, with the greatest exposure, and with the best instruction. Both teams compete on a stage against some of the top national high school teams, prep schools and community colleges. The schedule also includes games in some of the top national tournaments and showcases throughout the country. In addition, ASPIRE will provide seamless integration of innovative and stimulating academic support, leadership development training, community outreach programs and a highly monitored and supervised optional boarding program for all student-athletes.
